My Bio
My business Starrlight Jewelry & Designs was est. as a full time business in 2004 to help finance the Sanctuary that I run out of pocket.
I have been designing, making and selling jewelry at a hobby level for well over 10 years. I am a college graduate with some veterinary skills and a major in art and design.
When it became obvious to me that the island I live one was full of so many cats in despair and in need of food and medical attention I started my own small out of pocket sanctuary to do as much as I can for these wonderful animals.
All sales in my shop have a large portion of the money sent into caring for the animals. When you buy from me you are not only getting fantastic quality and affordable jewelry and trinkets, you are also helping me save lives and give hope to feral, stray, homeless, fostered, orphaned and abandoned cats, kittens, birds and more.
In addition to using my talents to help all the animals we care for and other animal sanctuaries here on my island, I also donate 1,000's of pieces of my stock every year to animal sanctuaries world wide to aid them in their own fund raising.
my awesomely supportive husband and I are currently working towards saving up to buy our own home, with land, to start our own non-profit cat sanctuary.

I ordered my birthday present tonight. It is a 20x30 inch poster that is going on the huge blank spot above my bead table.
The only reason I got one was because my husband came home with a 20x30 frame and told me to go pick a poster for myself online. I really wasn't happy with spending the money but I do not tend to argue with my husband over gifts.
It took me sooooooo long to pick one too.
My husbands intention was that because I face a blank wall he wanted me to have something lovely to look at when I go into my little dazes. I thought about what I'd like to see if I had a window to another world there and narrowed down the search.
